New York Business & Commercial Litigation AttorneyI began my career as an attorney in 1983. My primary areas of practice are Construction Law, Business and Commercial Litigation, Real Estate matters (including both Real Estate Litigation and Residential Real Estate Transactions) and Negligence, including Business Torts. With my office centrally-located on 3rd Avenue near 42nd Street in midtown Manhattan, I am able to represent clients in all 5 boroughs of New York City - Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, and the surrounding areas. Many of my clients come to me by way of referrals from my colleagues, who know that I give personal service to all my clients. I also work on a contract basis as an “of-counsel” lawyer to other law firms. I am admitted to practice law in the state of New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. I belong to the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. My extensive legal education includes an LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University (NYU) School of Law in 1988. I earned my Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1982. I also hold a bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany, from which I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1979.
