I have represented defendants directly, on behalf of insurance companies and on behalf of other attorneys on a per diem basis in various tort litigation matters, including premises liability, slip and fall cases, construction accidents, products liability, security and assaults, motor vehicle accidents, property damage and subrogation claims.  The issues in these types of litigation include notice, open and obvious conditions, rights and duties of absentee and resident landlords and managing agents, recurrent conditions, assumption of risk, mitigation of damages, comparative negligence, definitions of  “serious injury” and interpretation of  insurance contract and lease  provisions such as waiver of subrogation and indemnification clauses.
